Quick start: restore DSH plugins on a new machine

Start a new DSH session and ask:

用 dsh-plugin-bootstrap 帮我恢复插件

Or run the installer manually:

Then restart DeepSeek Harness or hard-refresh (Cmd+Shift+R).

The installer:

• pins every plugin to an exact version from plugins.json;
• finds the Desktop-aware DSH CLI (the generic dsh refuses the reserved desktop profile);
• supports --dry-run, --skip <pkg>, --no-config, --json;
• optionally configures dsh-browser-cdp for Chrome/headless;
• verifies both the dependency and the selected bundle.

Optional local patches

Two keyboard behaviours are reproduced by a version-pinned patch script:

• dsh-keyboard-shortcut@0.2.0: Enter = newline, Cmd/Ctrl+Enter = send.
• dsh-markdown-input@0.2.0-alpha.20: same key mapping inside its CodeMirror composer.

Patches are optional, version-checked, backed up, and may be overwritten by a plugin update.

Updating the plugin list

After installing or removing plugins on the source machine:

cd ~/.agents/skills/dsh-plugin-bootstrap
node scripts/capture.mjs --profile desktop

This rewrites plugins.json from the profile's selected bundles and preserves existing notes. Commit the change.

Notes

• The manifest was captured on DSH 0.2.1-rc.2 (Desktop). A different major/minor is blocked unless --allow-dsh-mismatch is given.
• dsh-better-sidebar is heavy and includes its own side chat; it can coexist with @flyer103/dsh-side-chat, but there will be two side-chat entry points. Skip it with --skip dsh-better-sidebar if not wanted.
• dsh-markdown-input is alpha; disable it in Settings → Plugins if its composer takeover misbehaves.
• The skill does not copy credentials, API keys, sessions, or workspace files.
