DeepSeek Harness lightweight Windows launcher. Pick a version to launch DSH Web in your system browser.

[!IMPORTANT] DSH-X launches the official DeepSeek Harness web page, not a desktop client.
It only handles version installation, launching, and plugin management — it does not embed a WebView and does not modify or rebuild the DSH web interface. DSH-X itself is a community open-source project, not an official DeepSeek product.

Features

• Pick a version, get started: Start / Stop / Restart / Update / Uninstall
• Plugins page: lists installed plugins with one-click toggles
• Compatibility mode: on launch failure the offending plugin is auto-disabled (one-click restore available); after launch it self-checks the client-side plugin packages the page references and reports a verdict on the management page (distinguishes instance issues from stale tabs)
• Faster launch: swaps the bundle merge step for an equivalent fast implementation (~1–2 s saved); auto-skipped after a DSH upgrade
• Plugins follow official releases: data lives under the user's .dsh directory, so switching versions doesn't require reinstalling plugins
• Keep the previous version on update: only the newest and the most recently installed are kept (enough for rollback); older ones are auto-cleaned up after install
• Tray resident: closing the web page doesn't quit the app; UI lives in your system browser
• Bundled Node / npm: install ships a portable node.exe and npm 10, with npmmirror as the registry
• One version at a time: avoids port and data conflicts between versions
• Optional marketplace on first install: can auto-install dshmarket

UI Preview

Usage

Install DSH-Setup.exe on Windows, then open DSH-X from the desktop. The launcher's management page and the official DSH web interface both open in your default system browser; the management page URL is http://127.0.0.1:3780/.

Development

Requires Node.js 22.18+ on your machine (official DSH: ^22.19.0 || >=24).

npm install
npm start

Web server only: npm run server.

Packaging

Requires Rust and Inno Setup 6 (will attempt to download if missing).

npm run dist

• release/DSH-Setup.exe: installer (default: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\DSH)
