Tencent Meeting CLI tool, powered by Tencent Meeting Open Platform OAuth2, supporting meeting management, recording management, and attendance reports.

Installation

Step 1: Install the CLI

Option 1: Install via npm (Recommended)

npm install -g @tencentcloud/tmeet

You can use the tmeet command right away after installation.

💡 If you see npm: command not found, Node.js is not installed yet. Please visit the Node.js website to download and install the LTS version (which includes npm).

Option 2: Build from Source

Step 2: Install CLI-SKILL

Quick Start

1. Log In and Authorize

tmeet auth login

The command opens your default browser to the authorization URL automatically; if none is available, it prints the URL for you to open manually. The CLI polls for results (5-minute timeout) and saves encrypted credentials locally.

To disable automatic browser opening, use the --no-browser flag: tmeet auth login --no-browser

2. Create a Meeting

Global Flags

All commands support these global flags:

--compact	—	false	Compact output mode: keeps only key fields and filters out redundant ones to reduce response size; applies to query/list commands

Pagination Parameters

Starting from v1.0.5, all paginated commands use the --page-token + --page-size scheme. The original --page / --pos / --size parameters are marked as deprecated — still functional but no longer recommended, and may be removed in future versions.

Note: --pid / --limit on record transcript-get are independent parameters for paragraph positioning in that command and are not general pagination parameters; they have not been deprecated.

Unified usage:

--page-size	int	Page size. Defaults and maximums vary by command; see each command's documentation

record transcript-get / record transcript-paragraphs / record transcript-search do not yet support the new --page-token-based pagination scheme.

Compatibility: when --page-token is omitted and a legacy pagination parameter (e.g. --page, --pos) is provided, the CLI issues the request in legacy mode (page_type=0); otherwise it uses the new mode (page_type=1).

After the Tencent Meeting CLI is connected to an AI agent such as OpenClaw and authorized, the AI gains access to your Tencent Meeting data (user details, meetings, recordings, minutes, etc.) and acts under your identity within the authorized scope. Despite built-in safeguards, AI risks (hallucination, prompt injection, poisoning, execution errors) may still lead to data leaks or unauthorized operations. Use this tool with care and follow your organization's data security policies. If you suspect a leak or want to stop, immediately run tmeet auth logout.

By using this CLI, you acknowledge and accept all risks above and assume related responsibilities.

Configuration

Config files default to ~/.tmeet/, overridable via env vars:

Note: All time parameters use the ISO 8601 format, e.g. 2026-04-10T14:00+08:00. Timestamp fields in responses are automatically converted to ISO 8601 format for display.
