Organize sessions, follow-ups, and branches in the same workspace into a browsable, draggable, zoomable map, with DSH native sessions kept as the source of truth.

Quick Install

Requires a DeepSeek Harness with profile plugin support, Node.js >= 22.19.0, and the web profile.

corepack pnpm dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-synapse
corepack pnpm dsh web

After starting up, switch to the Conversation Map at the top of DSH. Synapse reuses the existing DSH Web Server and does not start a second application or proxy system.

What Problem It Solves

Capability	Description
Conversation map	Places continuous follow-ups, branches, and different sessions on the same interactive canvas.
Real branches preserved	Cards are connected according to DSH native fork relationships; no separate session history is created.
Easier follow-ups	Selected text in a reply can be carried directly into a new follow-up; common filler phrases are editable.
Two-way sync	Switching sessions in either the map or DSH native conversation keeps the current context consistent.

Native entry

In the DSH native conversation, enter Synapse via the Conversation Map at the top; after returning to Conversation, it remains the same DSH session.

Boundaries with DSH

• DSH session logs store the actual conversation content; Synapse only projects committed events.
• Synapse's canvas layout data is stored in $DSH_HOME/synapse/; deleting it does not remove DSH sessions.
• The plugin does not modify prompts, model requests, tool schemas, provider routing, or reusable KV-cache prefixes.
• The built-in patch only supports the DSH web profile.
