What Is Jacky Creator

Jacky Creator links DeepSeek Harness chat with your local content folder, adding content, ops, and idea workspaces. Each piece of content is still a plain folder the AI, editor, and you can read/write.

• Chat: DSH Agent with current content and ops context.
• Content: Manage scripts, videos, subs, covers, articles, publish state.
• Ops: Track daily progress, schedule, pipeline, goals, post-publish review.
• Ideas: Log thoughts, tags, grades; promote confirmed ones to projects.

Installation

1. Install DSH Desktop

Download and install DSH Desktop 2.0.2. Both DSH Desktop and Jacky Creator are community projects.

2. Install Jacky Creator

Prefer installing the npm prebuilt in DSH Desktop's built-in terminal; one-click install works once the plugin market syncs.

Option 1: Install via DSH Plugin Hub

First open the built-in terminal of DSH Desktop, and install the visual plugin marketplace:

dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-plugin

Completely quit and reopen DSH Desktop. After the marketplace catalog has synced and Jacky Creator is shown, go to "Settings → Plugin Marketplace", open the plugin card, and click Install.

The market catalog syncs periodically. If it shows an older version than GitHub, use the CLI method below.

Option 2: Install latest via CLI

Open the built-in terminal of DSH Desktop, copy the line below, and press Enter:

dsh plugin --profile web add jacky-creator

If the npm channel is temporarily unavailable, you can instead install the prebuilt package from the matching GitHub Release:

dsh plugin --profile web add https://github.com/Jackywxsz/DSH-Creator/releases/download/v0.1.0-beta.8/jacky-creator-0.1.0-beta.8.tgz

Whichever method you use, completely quit and reopen DSH Desktop after installation. If Jacky Creator appears in the top-left of the sidebar and you can open "Content / Operations / Ideas", the installation was successful.

3. Complete the Initial Setup

Start a new conversation, select the standard or code Agent, then send:

Set up Jacky Creator: pick a local content dir, preview changes first, then save on confirm.

Once configured, just tell the AI your topic and it can create a project, plan angles, and draft a script.

Text and artifacts live in your chosen content dir. Jacky Creator only stores workbench settings, ops state, and publish records locally — no closed database.

Core Capabilities

Content lib, ops workbench, idea lib, and script rules work without extra Skills. Subtitles, covers, demo animations, Screen Studio, multi-platform publishing are optional; their absence doesn't affect the core workbench.

Data & Permissions

• Text, videos, subs, covers, articles stay in your chosen local dir.
• API Keys are held by DSH credentials service; UI only shows config status.
• Dir creation, bulk renames, config saves preview first, then await confirmation.
• External services are contacted only when you enable the feature.
• Uninstall does not delete the content dir.

Please report security issues privately via the Security Policy, and do not attach keys, private paths, or unredacted content in public Issues.

FAQ

If Jacky Creator does not appear in the sidebar:

1. Make sure the install command was run in the built-in terminal of DSH Desktop.
2. Completely quit and reopen DSH Desktop.
3. If it still fails, open an issue in GitHub Issues with your system version, DSH Desktop version, and a redacted install log.

Do not manually modify the package.json or cordis.patch.yml of your DSH Profile.

Compatibility

The primary supported environment is currently macOS, DSH Desktop 2.0.2, and DeepSeek Harness 0.1.1-rc.2. Windows x64 is not yet a recommended environment; extensions such as Screen Studio and Ego Lite only support macOS.

Plugin Marketplace

Jacky Creator is listed in awesome-dsh-plugin, and marketplace cards are synced by dsh-market. After installing dshmarket, you can search for DSH-Creator in DSH Desktop's "Settings → Plugin Marketplace" and install with one click. If the marketplace version has not yet synced, use the fixed-version install command above.

Project Origins

Jacky Creator is developed further from the local content workflow of the upstream open-source project dsh-oil-creator, and incorporates the operational methods and UI experience from Jacky's original Creator Cockpit. Thanks to the original project's authors and contributors.

License & Brand Assets

The code follows the MIT License. The name "Jacky Creator", the Sprout mascot, the logo, and brand visuals are not automatically licensed under the MIT code license; see Brand Assets Notes for the exact boundaries. MIT attribution for the original project and upstream contributors is preserved.
