Engineering (user-invoked)

Skill	Description
ask-matt	Ask which skill or flow fits your situation. A router over the user-invoked skills.
grill-with-docs	Grilling session that also builds your project's domain model, sharpening terminology and updating GLOSSARY.md and ADRs inline.
triage	Move issues through a state machine of triage roles.
improve-codebase-architecture	Scan a codebase for deepening opportunities, present them as a visual HTML report, then grill through whichever one you pick.
setup-matt-pocock-skills	Configure this repo for the engineering skills (issue tracker, triage labels, domain doc layout). Run once per repo.
to-spec	Turn the current conversation into a spec and publish it to the issue tracker.
to-tickets	Break any plan, spec, or conversation into a set of tracer-bullet tickets.
implement	Build the work described by a spec or set of tickets, driving TDD at pre-agreed seams.
implement-spec	Implement a whole spec on one integration branch using concurrent subagents.
wayfinder	Plan a huge chunk of work as a shared map of decision tickets, then resolve them one at a time.

Installation

Option 1: Install as a DSH Cordis Bundle (recommended)

1. Clone this repository:

   git clone https://github.com/Henrycheheng/dsh-plugin-matt-skills.git
   cd dsh-plugin-matt-skills
   

2. In your DSH session, ask the agent to install the bundle:

   "Please install the bundle at /path/to/dsh-matt-pocock-skills using plugin_manager"

3. After installation, the skills appear in your session skill catalog.

Option 2: Copy to ~/.dsh/skills/ (simple, no plugin)

# Copy only the skill directories you want

cp -r assets/skills/ask-matt ~/.dsh/skills/

DSH's filesystem skill provider automatically discovers skills under ~/.dsh/skills/.

Usage

Once installed, skills are available via the DSH skill system:

• User-invoked skills: mention the skill name in conversation (e.g., "use ask-matt", "run grill-with-docs")
• Model-invoked skills: the agent automatically selects them when the task matches

Adaptation Notes

The original skills were written for Claude Code / Codex / Gemini CLI. This DSH adaptation:

• Replaces sub-agent references with DSH's subagent tool
• Replaces Claude Code-specific tool calls with DSH equivalents
• Adds DSH-compatible YAML frontmatter (whenToUse, user-invocable, disable-model-invocation)
• Skips skills already built into DSH to avoid duplicates
